The Raccoon 85 was developed with a highly modular design and a larger capacity than the Reindeer 75 - thanks to a volume of 85 liters, coupled with dimensions of 65 x 38 x 34 cm and a weight of only 3300 g, this backpack is the perfect choice for extended outdoor activities such as trekking, backpacking and hiking.
Thanks to the use of original materials such as NIR-coated Cordura, ITW Nexus, Duraflex buckles and reinforced seams, it is well equipped for tough off-road use and a long service life.
The Raccoon consists of a main compartment that can be accessed from above or below and can be divided into two smaller compartments by a 1/3 divider. The main compartment is compatible with the available hydration bladders. The additional funnel on the top increases the volume of 85 liters by a few more liters.
Five additional pockets keep things organized inside.
Two 9-liter side pockets and a top flap can be removed when not in use.
To increase carrying comfort, the Raccoon has been equipped with a "FAS Plus Ergonomic" carrying system with an enlarged, heavily padded hip belt that allows for a better fit. "FAS" can be easily adjusted by the user to fit all body sizes and silhouette types. It is also equipped with a quick release system for emergencies and an additional rain cover. An additional chest strap helps to keep the shoulder strap in place.
