Description

The first lamp in the Walther range that emits only ultraviolet light (wavelength 395 nm from a 5W UV Hi-Power LED). UV light, also known as black light, is used to check banknotes or ID papers; geocachers also use it to make otherwise invisible markings on hiding places. The UV5 is supplied with three AAA alkaline batteries (1.5 V), but has the Multi Battery System (MBS), which also allows other energy sources. With battery magazine (3 x AAA), battery case for 1x 18650 or 2x CR123, holster and replacement seals.
