All limbs are made of fiberglass and carbon.

LIFTING ARM CQ 35 LBS - CLOSE QUARTER

Ideal for short distances, frequent training and indoor use. The AR-6 Stinger II Compact comes standard with this limb.

The CQ limb enables the fastest shot sequences and, due to the lower strain on the shooter and equipment, also particularly long training times. However, this limb is also very dangerous, especially with broadheads, and requires the same compliance with all safety rules when shooting. Caution: Due to the low draw weight, this limb is thinner and somewhat more "delicate" than our other limbs, which are fairly indestructible. As with all other limbs, the following applies here too: pulling on a string must be done using a tensioning aid. In our opinion, the CQ limb is the ideal all-rounder for the Compact and is also good for training with tactical and survival.

LIMBS TACTICAL 55 LBS - THE STANDARD BOW

The standard limb for the AR-6 Stinger II Tactical and the Survival. In our opinion, it is the perfect balance of power, speed and robustness. This limb can also be used with the Compact without having to sacrifice too much firing frequency. On the AR-6 Stinger II Tactical, the 55 is an ideal limb for indoors and shorter distances. With broadheads, however, the 55 lbs limb is absolutely deadly and should only be used with the utmost caution. It offers good strength for beginners without causing too much wear on the string and end caps.

LIFTING ARM ADVANCED 75 LBS - FOR DEMANDING USERS

The limb for all those shooters who want more power but don't want to spend too much time on maintenance and care. A straightforward limb that offers more than enough power for most applications. Although the 75 lbs limb can still be tensioned on the Compact, it no longer allows for rapid succession of shots. For most shooters, the ADVANCED will no longer be suitable on the Compact. For the Tactical and Survival, however, it is the optimal middle ground between more power and manageable wear.

THROWING ARM PRO 90 LBS - FOR PROFESSIONAL USERS

The ideal limb for professional users and special applications such as hunting or defense. In our opinion, this limb is the optimum for the AR-6 Stinger II Tactical - very high penetrating power coupled with a significant increase in range, but still easy and quick to cock with the support of the shoulder rest. However, this limb requires more care and does not forgive mistakes or careless behavior. Even a single dry shot without an arrow can lead to destroyed limb end caps or damage to the limb. We therefore recommend using limb end caps made of aluminum.

LIFTING ARM MAGNUM 120 LBS - FOR MAXIMUM TACTICAL USERS

The MAGNUM limb is designed for those users who want to get the most out of their Stinger II. This turns the Tactical into an extremely powerful weapon with enormous range, provided you use the right arrows. Without sufficient training, however, the additional power can easily come at the expense of the fast rate of fire. Trained shooters, on the other hand, can achieve similar times to those with regular use of the PRO limb. The MAGNUM requires significantly more care and does not forgive mistakes or careless behavior. Even a single dry shot without an arrow can lead to destroyed limb end caps or damage to the limb. The use of aluminum limb end caps and careful handling are therefore basic requirements.

HUNTING ARM 150 LBS - FOR HUNTING APPLICATIONS

The HUNTING is a particularly strong limb for shots at longer distances and for more energy on the target. With this limb, the AR-6 Stinger II Survival is transformed into a fully-fledged hunting crossbow, especially when longer arrows with correspondingly large 3D hunting tips are used. Not suitable for training or for rapid succession of shots! We only support the use of this limb with the AR-6 Stinger II Survival and only with sufficiently heavy arrows. The HUNTING requires significantly more care and does not forgive mistakes or careless behavior. Even a single dry shot without an arrow can lead to destroyed limb end caps or damage to the limb. The use of limb end caps made of aluminum and careful handling are therefore basic requirements.
Attention: Not every combination of limb, stinger model and arrows makes sense!
  • The AR-6 Stinger II Compact is designed for fast and dynamic firing rates and therefore only works well with lower draw weights. For this reason, we recommend the CQ (35 lbs) or standard (55 lbs) throwing arm for optimal use.
  • The AR-6 Stinger II Tactical shines through its versatile application possibilities. It can be used with limbs in the range of 35 to 120 lbs.
  • The AR-6 Stinger II Survival , on the other hand, is a hunting crossbow and therefore needs sufficient power for hunting applications. It gets this from our limbs with up to 150 lbs.

A limb ≥ 90 lbs is not suitable for everyday training purposes! Rather, it is a limb that has been developed for special areas, such as hunting, for particularly long ranges or for defense. Only use suitable and sufficiently heavy arrows with this bow! Please also note that a limb ≥ 90 lbs leads to increased wear on the string and end caps, even when used as intended. Damage caused by dry shots, arrows that are too light or due to lack of maintenance is not covered by our guarantee! The limbs of the AR-6 Stinger II do not fit the previous versions of the AR-6 Stinger I. In addition, a limb ≥ 90 lbs is unsuitable for the AR-6 Stinger II Compact, as the force required for tensioning must be applied directly and this limb is therefore usually too strong. Note: The draw weight is not a sufficient indicator of the performance of a crossbow bow! Many factors, such as the length of the acceleration path, the efficiency of the bow, the spring characteristic of the bow, the weight of the arrow, the weight of the string and many more have an impact on the energy that the arrow receives when fired.
